YHA Holland House offers hostel accommodation situated in the fashionable Kensington area of London. Overlooking Holland Park, YHA Holland House is made up of two wings, forming the only Jacobean residence still standing in Central London. The building was originally developed in 1607 for the Chancellor of the Exchequer Sir William Cope and was also used for literary salons, which were attended by writers including William Wordsworth, Lord Byron, Alexander Dumas and Charles Dickens.

The nearest underground station to Holland House YHA is High Street Kensington, located in Zone 1. A short tube journey on either the Circle or District lines will take you to St Jamess Park Station (5 stops) and from there you can walk to Buckingham Palace.

Kensington Gardens is a short stroll from YHA Holland House, where you will find Kensington Palace, the former home of Princess Diana. South Kensington is also within walking distance of the hostel where you can visit the Natural History Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum and Science Museum.
