The teachers, who are all degree educated and qualified to teach English, offer courses in General English, examination preparation for the Cambridge FCE and CAE, IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC, Business English, English for Academic Purposes, Work and Study Programmes and English Plus Courses. The Summer Programmes for juniors offer intensive lessons in groups combined with an exciting activity schedule.

Many of the courses at The Bristol Language Centre have flexible start dates and times (including evening courses) so you can choose your course depending upon the time you have available and your budget!

The social programme devised by the Activities Coordinator helps you to meet other students, experience English culture and have lots of fun. You can go to things like pub nights, theatre trips and excursions to places like Bath and Stonehenge.

As well as bright and welcoming classrooms, you will find a recreational area where you can relax with the new friends you have made. There is also study area which you can use for your self study. As free internet access is offered you will be able to surf the net or send emails home to family and friends to let them know all the fantastic things you've seen and what a brilliant time you're having!

Bristol, as well as being home to The Bristol Language Centre, is a major university city in the South West of England. The once abandoned harbourside where you will find this language school has now been transformed into a major tourist attraction including museums (like the Industrial Museum), exhibitions, bars, restaurants and nightclubs for you to explore.

Nearby tourist attractions include the @ Bristol Science Centre and the SS Great Britain. You should climb Cabot Tower for fabulous views across the city and go to the fabulous Bristol Suspension Bridge whilst studying here.
