New Town Apartments is situated in the North East of the New Town, just a walk or short bus ride from Princes Street and Waverley Station. You will be within easy reach of the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Playhouse Theatre when you book your own private apartment at New Town Apartments. With the flexibility to come and go as you please, you can set your own itinerary. To orientate yourself you could head to nearby Calton Hill, which offers panoramic views of the city from its City Observatory.

Edinburgh New Town Apartments provides you with a compact, centrally heated, open plan studio. You will have a sleeping area, a bathroom (bed linen, toiletries and towels provided), a lounge area with colour TV/DVD player, and a kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Get your groceries from the supermarket around the corner and use the microwave, oven and toaster to cook your own meals. Edinburgh New Town Apartments also provide a hairdryer, alarm clock, iron/board and WiFi access.

The nearest station to New Town Apartments is Waverley, Edinburgh's main station. You can visit St Andrews (home of golf) in a sixty minute journey, or be in Glasgow in less than an hour. Other Scottish destinations easily accessible from Waverley include Dunfermline (30 minutes) and Dundee (1 hour 15 minutes).

When you stay New Town Apartments you won't have to go far to enjoy a drink or a meal out – the bars and restaurants of Broughton Street are just a short stroll away. You can enjoy fantastic panoramic views from nearby Calton Hill, or take an even shorter walk and marvel at the flowers in the Royal Botanic Gardens. Walk, or take a bus, to Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle, or head to Leith's Ocean Terminal - the shopping arcade designed by Terence Conran.

To check-in (from 15:00) you must go to the check-in office at 6 Queen Street, where you will be given your keys and directions to your apartment. Free luggage storage is available for early arrivals at 6 Queen Street. Late check-outs must be arranged in advance (or at check-in) and incur a charge, as does luggage storage on your departure day. You will find a concierge service, phone, fax, safe and DVD library at the check-in office at 6 Queen Street.

There is no lift at New Town Apartments. If you have restricted mobility you should highlight this when booking so that a suitable apartment can be allocated.

Your apartment will be serviced every 7 days, and cots and highchairs are available upon request.
