Clink 261 London is a friendly hostel located within easy reach of King's Cross Station, the British Museum and British Library, and numerous universities and language schools. Clink 261 can accommodate individuals as well as groups in its centrally heated dormitories. London Clink 261 is situated on Grays Inn Road, which originated as the ancient route from the north to the City markets. General Monck travelled along this road to restore Charles II and Tom Jones entered the capital here. Originally called Grays Inn Lane (until 1862), Stow described it as a "lane furnished with fair buildings and many tenements on both sides". The road was once home to the offices of The Times and The Sunday Times and is now home to the ITN offices, designed by Sir Norman Foster.

Kings Cross, situated in Zone 1, is the nearest station to Ashlee House London. Catch a Thameslink overland train to Gatwick Airport and the seaside resort of Brighton (southbound) or to Luton Airport (northbound). The Piccadilly Line will transport you directly to Heathrow Airport.

Clink 261 is just minutes from both the British Library and the British Museum. The leafy Georgian squares of Bloomsbury are also within easy walking distance, where you will find Dickens House Museum. Enjoy a picnic in nearby Regents Park, or a lunchtime snack in pretty Russell Square.
