YHA Brighton

YHA Brighton is situated in Brighton, famous for its Palace Pier and Royal Pavilion landmarks and its many miles of beach. The area is ideal for student visitors, with a huge number of bars and nightclubs easily accessible from YHA Brighton as well as a range of excellent restaurants. The hostel itself is situated in Patcham Place in a Grade II listed mansion originally built in 1558 for Sir William West, Lord de La Waar and redesigned in 1764 for Colonel John Paine.

There are a number of facilities available at Brighton YHA including a self-catering kitchen, laundry service and shared bathroom facilities. 56 beds are available in a range of rooms, from four-bedded up to twelve-bedded rooms. To get to the Universty of Sussex from YHA Brighton take either a 5 or 5A bus into the city centre and change for a number 25 bus. The University of Brighton's Grand Parade campus is a short bus journey from from Brighton YHA (number 5, 5A) and you can also reach the Moulescoomb and Falmer sites by bus or a short train journey from Preston Park Station. Several language schools are within walking distance of the city centre, such as St Giles College Brighton, House of English and EF International School of English Brighton.

Preston Park is the nearest station to YHA Brighton, with Brighton Station one stop away. Gatwick Airport is easily accessible direct from Preston Park in just half an hour. Central London is just an hour away with frequent trains running to London Bridge and King's Cross stations.

Brighton is a city rich in history and culture, with a number of famous attractions including the Palace Pier and Royal Pavillion, both located in the city centre.
