Haymarket is the nearest station to West End Hostel, situated right opposite the hostel! If you fancy combining your study stay in Edinburgh with a day trip to another of Scotland's major cities, just jump on a train to Glasgow, which is merely 45 minutes away.
West End Hostel is situated within walking distance of many of Edinburgh's
most popular attractions. If you are staying here in the summer you will be able
to enjoy a performance or two at one of the city's many festivals, or stay at
New Year and enjoy the biggest New Year street party in the world, Hogmanay. St
Mary's Cathedral and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art are close by
and well worth a visit, and nearby Williams Street is full of pubs, boutiques
and attractive Georgian shop fronts.
