Hampstead School of English London offers you the chance to study in the home
of English language in a pleasant and relaxing environment. Enrol here and
you'll be studying with up to 350 other students from almost 40 countries around
the world.
Established in 1977, Hampstead School of English believes in
providing excellent tuition, accommodation and student care. They will try to
help you in any way they can during your stay.
You can start on any
Monday. They'll be a maximum of fifteen people in your class, or 8 if you book
in as a premium. You'll be taught by a friendly and relaxed teacher for between
15 and 30 hours a week. You can study General English and combine it with
Business English or exam preparation classes for IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC. There
are also Academic and Professional English classes available, as well as
preparation classes for the Cambridge papers.
Your free time and breaks
will give you plenty of opportunity to chat to other students. The weekly social
events such as riverboat discos, sightseeing, and weekend trips to places like
Wales arranged by the language school will also help you to mingle with others,
make new friends, and enjoy the English culture that surrounds you.
There are 26 well equipped classrooms and a computer room with 30 computers and
free internet access. There is wireless internet access throughout the school,
as well as a laptop connection room. There are even computers in the well
stocked library! The impressive study centre contains books, cassettes, and
videos.
During your breaks you can head to the canteen or the coffee
lounge (which opens out onto the patio) to chat to other students, meet your
friends and grab something to eat
Hampstead School of English London is situated in Hampstead, a fashionable
suburb of London. The High Street is full of trendy cafes and clothes shops, and
many celebrities live here. You will be able to explore the lush green parkland
and woodland of Hampstead Heath and visit the Freud Museum and Keats' house
whilst you stay here.
If central London is calling you, you can walk to
Finchley Road tube station and catch a tube that runs on the Jubilee Line.
Without having to change lines you can travel to St James Park to see Buckingham
Palace and the Changing of the Guards, and Westminster to hear the chimes of Big
Ben and see if you can spot the Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street.
