| How are the prices calculated?
StudyStay.com prices are always shown as the price per person
per night. This is calculated by dividing the total room rate
between the number of guests staying within that room
For instance, this means that should 2 people book into a twin
/ 2 bedded private room costing £40.00 per night, the initial
price displayed will be £20.00 per person per night. However
if just one person books the twin / 2 bedded private room the
rate will appear as £40.00 – the price for the whole
room.
What discounts are available?
StudyStay’s standard discounted rates are heavily discounted
(over 50% in many cases) when compared to the accommodation’s
own prices. This is because we have secured exclusive discounts
for our student customers who book online.
StudyStay also offers additional discounts for groups and long
stays (usually 7 nights or more). These discounts are over and
above the Standard and Student Discounts, further reducing the
cost of your stay.
How do I book with a Student Discount?
Simply select Student as the discount type when entering your
search criteria and the student rate will be displayed for the
accommodations searched.
It should be noted that the vast majority, though not all accommodations,
offer a student discount. If a student rate is offered, a red
asterisk appears alongside the price per person per night, if
you have searched using the student discount option. If no student
discount is offered, no asterisk will appear.
To qualify for the student discount you must produce valid student
identification when you arrive at your accommodation, otherwise
you may have to pay the full hotel rate.
How do we qualify for a Group Discount?
Group discounts are automatically calculated based upon search
for parties of 20 or more. Please check that Group is displayed
as the discount type at the top of the ‘select’ page
having entered the number of people staying.
As with the student discount, most accommodations offer a group
discount. Again, you can tell if a group discount is offered by
the apperance of a red asterisk alongside the price per person
per night. If no group discount is offered, no asterisk will appear.
Groups of students should select the Group Discount option, as
it is usually greater than the Student Discount.
It is worthwhile for you to contact us on +44 870 840 9111 or
booking@studystay.com
when making particularly large or lengthy group bookings as we
are often able to secure special individually negotiated rates
or extra availability for your group in these cases.
How do I qualify for a Long Stay Discount?
Long Stay discounts are automatically calculated and displayed
based upon the duration of stay. Almost all the accommodations
listed on StudyStay.com apply long stay discounts to stays of
seven nights or more. Some accommodations also feature a two-week
or a monthly discount.
Long stay discounts will automatically be displayed when stays
of 7 nights or more are entered. A long stay discounted rate is
indicated by a red asterisk next to the price per person per night
when conducting a standard search.
How do I know that I got the best price?
Our system will always show the cheapest price available.
For example, if you are a student staying for more than seven
nights, the cheapest rate will be displayed, whether it is the
student discount rate or the long stay discount rate.
Price promise
We have a price promise – find the same accommodation available
for less and we will refund the difference! We regularly check
our prices to make sure they are the cheapest – so that
you can get the best price available.
