Inverness is perfect for cyclists and walkers and is well located for great days out - you could take a day trip to Skye and Orkney or enjoy a short drive to Culloden Battlefield and Urquhart Castle, just a short journey away. Inverness centre has plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops and Inverness College is easily accessible from the centre. You can catch a train from Inverness to Edinburgh or Glasgow, both three and a half hours away, or to Aberdeen, which is around two hours away.
