About Camden College of English
Camden College of English London is such a small and friendly school that you
will find it easy to relax and make friends here. Established in 1989, it
attracts adult (18+) students from over 42 different nationalities, providing a
truly international atmosphere for you to experience.
Camden College of
English employs CELTA or DELTA qualified teachers who always hold memorable
lessons. You can study full time General English, preparation for Cambridge and
IELTS exams, Business English, English for Future Professionals, English and
Work Experience and an Academic Year course. Many part time courses are also
offered, so you can still study whilst working as a nanny or au pair.
The summer English and Cultural Experience course (where all the lessons
take place in London's famous museums, art galleries and places of cultural
interest) is so unique it was awarded the 2006 British Council Language Teaching
Innovation Award!
Camden College of English London also offers constant
social activities to help you get to know London, England and fellow students!
You can help to produce the school newspaper, take part in treasure hunts, go to
film nights, attend walking tours around parts of London, or visit places like
Oxford and Stratford Upon Avon.
Facilities at Camden College of English
Camden College of English is small and cosy so you will get to know your way around easily. There are 5 well equipped classrooms here as well as a coffee room with piano where free tea coffee and biscuits are served during breaks. The computer room provides you with free access to the internet and your emails. After lessons you can use lend books from the library or use the self access study centre. The beautiful roof terrace is the ideal place to head on a warm summer's day!
Where is Camden College of English located?
Just 15 minutes from central London attractions such as Leicester Square and the
Tower of London on a Northern line tube is Camden College of English London. Get
off at either Camden Town or Chalk Farm tube stops and you will be able to walk
to this language school with ease.
You will soon discover that you are
studying in one of the most exciting and vibrant districts of London known as
Camden. The school itself is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and cafes and is
very close to world famous Camden Market where you can pick up bargains –
anything from clothes to antique furniture!
Three of the most beautiful
parks in London (Primrose Hill, Regents Park and Hampstead Heath) are also
