Anglo-Continental School of English was founded in 1950. It's a world leader in English language training for adults and young learners. Situated in Bournemouth on the South Coast of England, this large family run language school has taught over 300,000 students, including generations of the same families.

The Young Learners Courses available during the summer are full packages of 20 English lessons per week (with the option to take a language programme extension which includes projects like drama) combined with excursions to places like London, Bath and Portsmouth and a range of evening and sports activities.

Also included in the packages are all meals and the choice of Homestay accommodation with a friendly English family, or residential accommodation (only available at the Rothesay Road Campus) where children share dormitories. The class sizes are kept to a maximum of 15, and children are grouped according to ability and age.

Anglo-Continental School for Young Learners holds its Young Learner courses at two locations. The first is a dedicated building in its Wimborne Road campus with good educational facilities and recreational areas. The second location, in Rothesay Road, is a private boarding school during term time. Students that study here will find 15 classrooms, an outdoor heated pool, a dining room, sports hall, games room, gymnasium, sports fields, 11 tennis courts, and dormitory rooms.
